Strengthening the visual direction of MMG-led equestrian events, I developed cohesive broadcast, print, and sponsorship assets that elevated brand identity, enhanced the live experience, and supported event growth.

CLIENT DESCRIPTION
Rapidly expanding equestrian competition destination, headed by industry staple Morrissey Management Group
In the summer of 2022, I began working with Traverse City Horse Shows (TCHS) and Morrissey Management Group (MMG) as a graphic media and production intern, supporting the visual and broadcast needs of one of the country’s premier equestrian event series.
My day-to-day responsibilities spanned both creative and production support, including:
Developing live-read materials for announcers
Designing and upgrading static scoreboard graphics
Assisting with on-site and broadcast production to ensure all sponsorship deliverables were met
Creating print advertisements for on-site use and national publications such as The Equestrian Collection, helping maintain a cohesive visual presence across platforms
I also designed a comprehensive facility map focused on accessibility, adaptability, and ease of use, allowing exhibitors to quickly navigate the venue while enabling the internal marketing team to easily update the asset as needed.
As MMG expanded its portfolio of horse shows, I was later brought in to help bring a new New York equestrian experience to life during its early stages of development. Through my graphic design work on the Silo Ridge Masters Sponsorship Deck (now known as the Highlands Horse Show), I supported the launch of the event by creating document layouts, custom iconography, and tailored imagery while the brand identity was still being defined. These assets helped potential sponsors visualize their role in an elite, not-yet-built event, provided the web development team with foundational graphics, and allowed venue hosts to see their branding reflected as early stakeholders in the show’s future.
As the TCHS venue continues to grow, so does the importance of cultivating strong sponsorship partnerships. In collaboration with the sponsorship and marketing teams, I designed the 2025 TCHS Recap Report: an 18-page, fully customizable document that captures the excitement and scale of the show while weaving real imagery into key performance data. Within a week of delivering final assets, the sponsorship team shared positive feedback, noting the report’s flexibility and value as a tailored tool for engaging prospective partners.
